’01 Contract Rates Effective 8/1/05
’03 Letter of Agreement (LOA) Rates Effective 10/1/05, and reduced the then effective CL-65 wages by 7%. 146 wages were reduced by 9%. First Officer pay was amended to conform to a 60% of the Captain wage.
Wage Increases:
’01 Contract established annual across-the-board increases that ended in 2004. The ‘03 LOA includes annual across-the- board increases of 1.5%, and includes a Wage Adjustment Mechanism that puts our wages at 2% above industry average for 50 seat jets in March 2006, 3% above industry average as of October 1, 2008, and 4% above industry average as of March 1, 2010.

Premium Pay:
’01 Contract paid premium pay for trip adds in the Initial Bid for Open Time. The ’03 LOA eliminated premium pay for trip adds in the Initial Bid for Open Time.

The ’01 Contract applied the minimum day of 3 hours to all days of all trips. The ’03 LOA provides that the minimum day will not apply to either the first or last day of any 3 or 4 day trip, provided the pilot is originally scheduled to check in at or after 1500L on the first day or os originally scheduled to report off on or before 1200L on the last day of the trip.
The ’01 Contract applied the minimum day and trip and duty rigs to CDO’s. The ’03 LOA creates an exception for CDO’s so that neither the minimum day, trip or duty rigs apply. Instead, CDO’s simply have a value of 5 hours, unless the scheduled or actual flight time of the CDO is greater than 5 hours.
The ’01 Contract did not include a provision for Non-Rig Trips. The ’03 LOA allows for 5% of the total time, by position, to be exempt from the duty and trip rigs. Such trips can only be placed on relief lines and in open time.
Line Pilot Instructor/Line Check Airman Pay:
’01 Contract – Paid an additional $500/month
’03 LOA – Paid an additional $250/month plus $10/hr for each hour of line instruction/checks.

’03 LOA: Pilot will not be required to fly a trip that would result in more 380 hours TAFB.
Actual On Duty:
’01 Contract: Actual on duty varies based on show time. For instance if the show time is 0530 the Pilot may not remain on duty more than 13 hours.
’03 LOA: No Pilot may remain on duty for more than 16 hours.
RON Rest:
’01 Contract: All RONs must be scheduled for at least 9 hours. Under no circumstances will time at the hotel be reduced below 8 hours.
’03 LOA: There is no minimum scheduled RON. However, under no circumstances will time at the hotel be reduced below 8 hours.

Temporary Move Ups:
’03 LOA: Has temporary move up provisions for reserves to fly a line in order to allow for shifts of flying for durations of four months or less. The ’01 Contract has no such provision.

’01 Contract: Specifies no less than 12 days off in a bid period.
’03 LOA: Allows that 30% of the lines may be built with 11 days off but the Pilot has the option of dropping the extra duty day. Has not ever been used.

Flexible Spending Accounts:
’01 Contract: Pilots may defer up to $2,500.
