These collection of pages highly the recent history of the Company and pilot group.

Recent History: 9/11 to now
Provides a brief overview of the history of Air Wisconsin since 9/11/2001 and how we got to where we are currently.

Where the Money Went
This page gives an overview of the concessions made as part of the Restructuring Agreement. We believe the total value of the concessions, including the work rule concessions, equates to approximately 15% of the then current pilot payroll. Only 10% of savings were passed along to UAL, resulting in a windfall to Air Wisconsin management of 5%. Stated another way, Air Wisconsin retained roughly a third of the concessions that were intended for UAL.

Our Arbirtration Award
On February 20th, 2007 Arbitrator Lawrence T. Holden, Jr. issued his Opinion in regards to our Restructuring Grievance. To summarize the 20 page Opinion Arbitrator Holden stated: "In sum, then, I find that the Company breached the "fully effective" language contained in Letter of Agreement #8 because it failed to bring to the Association's attention the fact that not all the cost savings would necessarily accrue to United and that the amended Express Agreement would not necessarily secure the future for the Company and the Association with respect to United regional flying."

The parties have not been able to reach agreement with respect to the remedy. ALPA's position is that all of the affected pilots must be made whole for the losses suffered as a result of the wrongful imposition of the concessions, and that the only appropriate legal remedy is to reinstate the terms of the 2001 Agreement. The Company's position does not
recognize either proposition. Briefs have been submitted to the arbitrator concerning the scope of the remedy. We expect to receive a decision within the next few months.
